Job Overview:
The MB Account Reconciliation (ART) Supervisor will provide day to day leadership, coaching and development as a leader to one of four ART Teams. Each team is assigned specific workflow objectives (Payoff, Advanced Payoff, Expert and Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Support Teams) in a high volume, operational environment of daily account reconciliation for incoming receivables to ALFA portfolio accounts and suspense system, including closing entries and title release requests as necessary. Supervisors will act in partnership with Accounting, Lockbox Support, various other operational and operational support teams in order to oversee and optimize productivity, quality and process efficiency
Responsibilities:
• Provide day to day leadership and employee development for typically 8-14 employees through the execution of formal coaching sessions with road map specific coaching plans, side by side assistance and on the job training. Execute performance appraisals, productivity monitoring, goal identification and achievement, talent selection and necessary disciplinary activities. (30%)
• Provide daily oversight and case management strategies to:
• Ensure accurate reconciliation for high volumes of receipts incoming daily to the ALFA portfolio system
• Monitor ART's suspense environments (typically ranging from $3-$10 Million) for escalation protocols and regulatory compliance
• Monitor title release gate by confirming contract obligation is met prior to release for all MBFS collateral (approx. 200K cases/yr)
• Responsibly monitor the LOA gate by confirming proper approval for all requests of waivers, credits, disbursements, etc
• Responsibly exercise ART Supervisor LOA to approve and process system disbursement up to $375K (30%)
• Work with other departments including Accounting, Lockbox Support, various other operational and operational support teams to analyze root cause of service and/or system issues . Devise and implement continuous process improvement strategies. (15%)
• Handle escalated issues with dealers, customers and internal departments. Conduct review of issues presented by requestor to close outstanding items. (10%)
• Ensure all ICS audit controls are tested regularly and that processes meet control expectations. (6 controls with potential to impact the bottom line of the business) (10%)
• In representation of ART as the primary ALFA user group, collaborate with ALFA Ops Support to continue refinement of ALFA ART related processes. (5%)

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:
