Job Details:
This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. The role requires a strong understanding and control of the production process, accurate recordkeeping, and oversight of general line maintenance and staffing.
Review daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.
Ensure all positions are filled prior to production line start‑up.
Oversee Team Member warm‑up exercises and job rotation to support ergonomics.
Ensure all machinery is operating at the highest standard.
Verify all workstations have passed USDA inspection.
Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Ensure accurate shipments, proper inventory rotation, and correct product coding.
Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
Provide encouragement and support to build a strong, effective team.
Perform essential human‑relations functions, including training, retention, and counseling on personal or professional matters.
Oversee various processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to resolve issues.
Maintain records of reworked or returned product.
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Experience:
One year in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Equivalent experience may be met through a bachelor’s degree.
Education:
High school diploma required.
Additional education such as vocational training, special coursework, or college classes is preferred.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills helpful.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising a group of personnel performing related tasks and activities.
Travel:
1–5 trips per year.
