About the Role

Are you a Line Mechanic or Electrical Fitter looking to take the next step in your career and transition off the tools?
This role is a great opportunity to apply your hands‑on industry experience in a project management capacity, where your practical knowledge will directly influence project planning, delivery, safety and commercial outcomes.

You will work closely with field crews, clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality electrical projects, and grow your skill set.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Liaising with landowners, co-workers and contractors
  • Preparation of tenders
  • Liaising with others, both internally and externally to prepare accurate estimates of resources required
  • Confirming scope, planning and execution, assessment, and close out of projects 
  • Managing projects in a timely and efficient manner, whilst reporting on your success

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will either have previous project management experience or come from a strong technical background within the electrical industry and be ready to move into a project management role. You will demonstrate strong organisational and technical skills, including proficiency in the MS Suite.

You will also hold a valid driver’s licence and have the ability to make well‑informed decisions. A high level of integrity and self‑motivation are essential.

The following skills are also desirable but not essential: 

  • Trade qualification or hands‑on experience in the electrical industry
  • Background in roles such as Line Mechanic or Electrical Fitter
  • Exposure to project coordination, estimating, planning or supervising works
