Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity

Join the Contract Processing leadership team as the Vendor Manager for offshore processing. In this role, you will own the day-to-day oversight of Contract Processing suppliers and internal teams, scaling operations in line with the company's vision and values. Areas of fucus include achieving business plan objectives, ensuring sound business practices that will satisfy quality requirements, hiring and motivating the team, mentoring, and developing leaders, coaching, and counseling employees as needed, minimizing employee turnover, assessing training needs, representing Contract Processing in a professional manner to clients, and driving the team to deliver best in class service.You'll have the opportunity to drive results through leading leaders, staying well-managed and building partner relationships.

The Work Itself

  • Responsible for supplier management and owning the day-to-day activities in support of business objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of direct reports which can include leaders.
  • Participate in project management activities, program development efforts, process enhancement initiatives, and compliance management efforts intended to facilitate achievement of objectives.
  • Driving results through reporting and using analytics to strategize business directions/goals.
  • Delivers continuously improving year on year expense results by improving processes, increasing productivity, introducing new technologies, and effectively managing projects.
  • Process knowledge of all contract processing lines of business (Retail, Lease, CSG, Ally Plus, etc.)
  • Works with internal and external customers on escalated requests and provides alternate solutions.
  • Monitor process volume/performance, identify unusual volume fluctuations, variances, and process performance deterioration; including action plan to reverse negative trends.
  • Oversee creating, presenting and following up on JIRA ticket submissions.
  • Drive performance of internal and supplier staff to meet KPIs.
  • Assist with sourcing, budgets, cost savings, and third party planning based off business needs.
  • Effectively communicate and present business changes, training, and procedures.
  • Regularly interacts with operations leadership and stakeholders and provides insight on trends.
  • Analyzes issues and uses judgment to make decisions.
  • Oversee TPRM updates and RCSA controls.
  • Supports rigorous quality, control, and compliance programs to include an ongoing control/compliance self-assessment process.
  • Leadership responsibilities to promote mentoring, and growth development of direct reports.
  • Properly notates any exception or direct action on every file where personally involved.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures in order to research/handle escalated/complex issues and to accurately respond to employees, and customers' inquiries.
  • Ability to lead large and complex teams with minimal employee relations issues.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The Skills You Bring

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of Leadership experience is preferred.
  • Supplier management experience is preferred.
  • Contract processing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze, define and drive process improvement using Six Sigma tools and methodology
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally).
  • Ability to support multiple assignments and stakeholders, prioritize workload for self, and coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to organize data and exercise effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with supplier business partners in a collaborative and team-oriented manner.
  • Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Flexible and can work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, energetic, motivated, and action-oriented.
  • Overnight and international travel required.

Base Pay Range : $90000 - $150000 USD

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
