Job Overview:
Analyze and investigate retail and lease credit applications with Senior Retail Credit Analyst Limits of Authority. Make decisions to mitigate MBFS credit risk while supporting and maximizing service levels for our dealer partners. Build relationships with the dealers as well as with the DRMs to maximize working relationships and increase MBFS retail and lease penetration
Also responsible for managing dealer relationships through escalated review of high-risk credit applications. They will act as a mentor for the retail credit analysts to assist with underwriting skill development. They will also support the Senior Retail Credit Analyst in managing the processing of all credit applications and phone service levels for the purpose of delivering superior service to dealers and customers. Additionally, the Retail Credit Analyst Senior Support will assist with training and development of new hires, support broker analysts, Non-PG applications, complete internal monthly and quarterly audits, as well as assist with any New Financial Agreement (NFA) testing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, decision and investigate retail and lease credit applications and communicate those decisions to the dealer via the NFA system and telephone in a timely manner. When necessary, negotiate conditional approvals with dealers. Execute buying strategies for dealer body as directed by management. (60%)
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) team member for credit analysts in assigned region through providing instruction to enhance each team member's underwriting skills. Provide support for the management team through coordination of staffing to ensure proper coverage for assigned region. (20%)
- Participate in ongoing development responsibilities such as training, and team meetings to improve underwriting skills. Work on various assignments and/or reporting responsibilities to support information sharing for the continuous improvement of the Retail Credit team (postmortems on repossessions, skips and charged-off accounts, monthly reports such as 30k Loss, Risk Rating Reports). (10%)
- Communicate changing market conditions, fraud trends, and dealership personnel changes relevant to the MBFS/dealer relationship to the management team. (10%)
Qualifikationen Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:
