We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Assistant at our Plainview, TX site.

The Logistics Assistant supports day-to-day logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of products throughout the United States and Globally. This role coordinates transportation, maintains accurate documentation, and supports communication between carriers, warehouses, and internal partners. The position also helps resolve delivery-related issues and contributes to process improvement initiatives within the logistics function.

This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You'll Do:
  • Arrange transportation for customer orders, warehouse transfers, returns, and discards across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure transportation decisions are cost-effective while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through strong transactional performance and attention to detail.
  • Manage a team of production technicians to ensure quality & accuracy of loads coming in & going out
  • Keep warehouse capacity at control levels & seed steadily shipping to prevent production bottlenecks due to limited floor space
  • Monitor daily activities & ensure time & quality commitments are met
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers and key supply-chain partners.
  • Coordinate the shipping & logistics process of products to sales representatives, customers, & growers, & different Corteva locations domestically & internationally
  • Accurately complete & maintain records in accordance to company standards
  • Use SAP for daily tasks, including warehouse cycle counts, outbound/inbound load schedules, & inventory analytics
  • Evaluate carrier performance and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery complaints and logistics incidents.
  • Identify and support process and project improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Education:
  • High School/GED or equivalent.
