Position: Supply Chain Manager
Remote Status: On-Site (Office) Required
Corporate Office: San Ramon, California

Salary: $95,000-$100,000
The successful candidate's starting base will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the base range for this role.

You balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, and you're energized by the opportunity to help implement a new ERP/MRP system that will elevate operational performance. The Position
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will own all purchasing-related activities across the company, ensuring materials and services are sourced cost-effectively and delivered on time. You will manage the full procurement, logistics, and inventory lifecycle while collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams.

You will also play a key role in our transition from QuickBooks to a more robust ERP/MRP system, helping evaluate options and support implementation to improve operational efficiency.

This position offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to expand into a broader Supply Chain & Operations leadership role as the company continues to scale.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations management
  • Strong background in purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control
  • Experience overseeing shipping and receiving operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; experience transitioning from QuickBooks is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Experience in instrumentation, hardware, or medical device manufacturing is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 25-50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, or move between work areas within the production and manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use standard material-handling tools or equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to work in a production/manufacturing area on a regular basis

Job Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Lead all purchasing activities for the entire company, including sourcing, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier contracts
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with domestic and international suppliers
  • Manage inventory control, stock accuracy, and material availability to support production
  • Own shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant movement of materials
  • Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including creation, approval routing, tracking, and reconciliation
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new ERP/MRP system
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions when needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements across procurement, inventory, and logistics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and new product development
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including tasks that may fall outside the traditional scope of this classification as business needs evolve
