As a Technical Program Manager at Skyline, you'll be leading a team of engineers to create custom tools, analyze data, and produce reports in our OPIR program area. This is a position out of our Tysons, VA office to support customers in the DC-metro area. This position is contingent upon the successful award of the contract. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversight over the team's daily activities, priorities, and customer interface
- Leading team of scientists and engineers, performing work for government clients.
- Oversee and manage the schedule, budget, and performance for each effort
- Prioritize customer requirements and tasks for team members
- Create reports and presentations on the capabilities of the team, progress towards milestones, and deliverables
- Develop, maintain, and execute program plans and schedules
- Increase team productivity by creating processes and streamlining requirements generation/reporting
- Actively works toward creating a positive team environment for both staff and clients.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Active TOP SECRET/SCI with poly: This position requires a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Image Science, Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, and 15 years of experience
- Experience in software development, algorithm development, and custom tool sets
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of scientists and engineers
- Experience with remote sensing, image processing, and/or digital signal processing
- Experience working with electro-optical imaging systems such as OPIR, Hyperspectral, or Multispectral platforms
- Excellent documentation skills, organizational skills, and verbal communication (including presentation) skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Willing to relocate to the DC Area
- Experience with Python
- Active TOP SECRET/SCI w/ Poly
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Master's degree in Image Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields, and 10 years of experience
- Experience leading a TCPED team
- Experience leading an OPIR-type project
