Position Summary ---------------- The role will assist the members of the Legal Department with the various aspects of the company’s legal needs, including purchasing, leasing, selling, and financing of aircraft and various US and international corporate governance matters. Key Responsibilities -------------------- * Assist with contract preparation for purchasing/selling/leasing commercial aircraft and engines * Project management through life cycle transactions * Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all leasing transactions, contracts, and related documents. * Work with internal and external resources, including legal, technical, investments, tax, and commercial teams * Manage KYC diligence and requests * Legal records management * Corporate organization, structuring, management, and governance of group legal structure * Provide additional support as required by senior team members Preferred qualifications ------------------------ * Bachelor’s degree or higher (legal or business administration, experienced paralegals, or legal assistants) * Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously at differing stages of progress * Maintain good judgement under pressure * A well-qualified candidate will also have knowledge of/experience with: * DMS or other document management systems management * Commercial aviation transaction experience (strongly preferred), real estate or other asset-based transactions experience preferred * Know Your Customer (KYC) processes * Corporate legal records management and governance experience * Non-Disclosure Agreements experience helpful Critical Success Factors ------------------------ * As ACS is a progressive and dynamic company, must be confident working within a fast-paced, high-pressure, and fast-changing environment * Has an empathetic personality; collaborates well and exemplifies ACS’ core values * Is a self-starter, highly motivated and has the ability to work independently * Has excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgement Employment basis / Organization Summary --------------------------------------- * Relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates * Competitive compensation plan based upon experience level * Top-tier benefit package including a full suite of insurance coverage, pension/retirement contributions and paid time off * Aero Capital Solutions, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
