Grocery Buyer Store Support Center We are searching for an experienced Grocery Buyer for our StoreSupport Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA, 90040. The Buyer buys goods for either production and/or resale. The Buyer negotiates the best cost for our company, focusing on the highest quality goods and services at the lowest possible cost. A Buyer identifies foreign and domestic suppliers and keeps abreast of changes affecting both the supply of and demand for, needed products and materials. The responsibilities of a Buyer include but are not limited to: Full departmental P&L responsibilities. Establishing strategies to meet sales expectations. Managing the purchasing functions of the department. Developing and implementing purchasing, pricing and merchandising strategies.
