Service Technician job duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and performing requested maintenance and repairs to customer and company owned vehicles, performing multi-point inspections (MPIs), and relaying information about the condition of a vehicle to a service advisor and/or manager. Communicate with the Service Advisor to determine the scope of work desired, while acknowledging waiting customers Perform a 27-point vehicle maintenance inspection thoroughly, and advise a service advisor if services are recommended, or if repairs are needed. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Perform engine, transmission, steering, coolant, electrical and braking system maintenance and repairs. Perform oil changes and lubrication work and check all filters.
