Description Prime Field Service , founded in 2004, is seeking experienced Precision Millwrights to join our Field Service team. We specialize in the mining and power industries and are technically skilled to handle any job, no matter how complex. Responsibilities Disassemble, repair, align, and assemble industrial equipment using hand and power tools, hoists, cranes, and laser alignment tools. Inspect, troubleshoot, and lubricate machinery; perform adjustments to meet specifications. Rig, move, and install heavy equipment and subassemblies; construct foundations as needed. Perform basic SMAW welding and shrink-fit procedures. Maintain detailed reports and follow blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols. Requirements High school diploma or GED. What you'll be doing Layout, fit, and weld structural and heavy industrial components MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and alloys Read blueprints and fabrication drawings Fit and prep plates, pipe, and structural assemblies Shop work + field repairs/installations (travel required at times) What you need Experience as a welder/fitter (shop or heavy industrial) Can read prints and do proper fit-up Solid welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick) Shows up on time and does clean, consistent work Willing to work both shop and occasional field work Certifications are a plus, not required.
