University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF)

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) was established in 1961 by upgrading the Punjab Agriculture College and Research Institute, Lyallpur which was founded in 1906. UAF comprises of six faculties, nine institutes, three centers and thirty departments. Due to regional demands, UAF has also established sub-campuses at Toba Tek Singh and Burewala. Recently, UAF has established a Community College at its PARS campus to reinstate its dormant F.Sc. Pre-Agriculture program. The Community College has also launched two year Associate Degrees and other options of flexible continuing education.

As our Field Lead Environmental Research Specialist, you will help the Applied Environmental Research Center (AERC) and Center for Strategic Partnerships and Research (CSPR) so they can provide a platform for high-level consultancy between industry and the University of Alaska (UA), while serving as a bridge to resources, expertise and talents across the entire UA system. The Project Specialist is expected to support the AERC mission which is to collect, analyze and apply environmental, natural and cultural resource data for optimal management of public lands. Projects of the AERC span between Alaska, Hawai’i, Japan, Korea and the Pacific Islands. In the future, we anticipate serving other strategic locations as well as expanding services to other public land-owners.
