Overview: MRI Technologist (Full-Time) Location: Palmetto Imaging Downtown 1331 Lady Street Columbia, SC 29201 Sign-On Bonus Available Relocation Assistance Available Responsibilities: Complete scans effectively and efficiently: Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure Select the most appropriate, cost-effective action plan after reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient’s abilities and condition Screen the patient for ferrous and RF-sensitive material before the patient enters the magnetic field Position and prepare patients for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures Select appropriate immobilization devices Review the patient’s chart and the physician’s request to determine optimal scanning parameters for the suspected pathology Prepare and administer contrast agents in accordance with state and federal regulations Enter necessary patient information to initiate the scan(s) Assess and monitor the patient’s physical and...
