The Department Chair is responsible for delivering outstanding patient care as well as administrative leadership and oversight for the department and clinical specialty subsections. Responsibilities: Conducts clinical, administrative and quality oversight of our cardiology providers within the Department. Clinical work as a 0.8 FTE and 0.2 administrative FTE. Establishes standards and protocols for evidence-based cardiovascular medicine within the Department. Determines the immediate, intermediate and long-term goals for the Cardiology Department in alignment with Department strategy.
