The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks two Histotechnicians to join the Anatomic Pathology team at the Animal Health Diagnostic Center. The Anatomic Pathology Histotechnician thrives in an outcome-driven environment with clear deadlines, enjoys working on advanced, routine and detailed tasks, and can identify and troubleshoot problems using standard operating procedures. They are extremely reliable, flexible in dealing with unpredictable workloads, and work well under pressure in a team-based environment. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform routine to moderate histopathology, which includes trimming, processing, embedding, and sectioning of tissues. Perform routine to moderate histology stains, including H&E and special stains. This may also include performing Immunohistochemistry stains and in-Situ-Hybridization stains depending on experience.
