Neurodiagnostic Technologist III - MEG JOB DESCRIPTION In this position, the candidate will primarily work in the MEG unit, but may occasionally support the EMU and TMS practices. The Technologist III functions as the multi-skilled component of the Division's technical staff performing electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. Must demonstrate advanced competency, skill and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, and providing a safe testing environment. Job Description The CNP Technologist II works in the neurodiagnostic laboratories performing electroencephalography (EEG), and long-term monitoring (LTM). The technologist is responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment and must demonstrate competent skills and knowledge in one or more of the area of hire. If applicable must also be able to work within the EEG/EMU on call schedule including but not limited to after hours, nights and weekends on a rotational basis.
