We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to help drive the vision, execution, and delivery of these cutting-edge avionics systems. This is not a traditional project management role.

What You'll Do:

You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, engineering leadership, and technical execution, partnering across hardware, software, AI, systems engineering, and program management to bring highly complex aerospace technologies from concept to cockpit.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead Complex Engineering Programs- drive cross-functional avionics development efforts from concept through certification and production transition while proactively managing technical scope, risks, and execution priorities.
  • Own Planning & Execution- develop project plans, technical proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment with company processes, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Schedule, Scope & Budget- maintain project schedules, coordinate resources, track performance, and help ensure projects meet schedule and budget objectives.
  • Drive Risk Management & Communication- identify project risks early, maintain mitigation strategies, and provide clear project visibility and reporting to leadership and Program Management.
  • Support Compliance & Operational Readiness- partner with Export Compliance and internal stakeholders to ensure projects launch and execute in accordance with regulatory and operational requirements.

How Success Is Measured

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
  • Successfully lead complex technical projects from concept through delivery
  • Maintain strong schedule and budget performance across programs
  • Influence engineering execution and proactively solve technical challenges
  • Build strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, program management, and leadership teams
  • Drive accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Deliver high-quality, reliable solutions aligned with aerospace and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience managing complex engineering or technical development programs in aerospace or avionics environments
  • Strong technical understanding of AI-enabled systems, computer vision, embedded systems, sensor fusion, and real-time data/video processing architectures
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional engineering teams while driving execution, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Excellent project management, planning, and communication skills with experience using tools such as Jira and MS Project
  • Self-motivated, proactive leader with a strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced technical environments
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of engineering development experience and 3+ years of technical project leadership experience

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Duluth, Georgia due to the hands-on nature of integration and lab collaboration. Our engineers work in a modern facility designed to support technical innovation, cross functional collaboration, and focused engineering work.
